Elite Armory offers a streamlined online CCW training option for Alameda County and San Joaquin County applicants. Complete the classroom portion online on your own schedule and avoid spending unnecessary time away from work, family, and other responsibilities. Once authorized by your issuing agency, simply complete your online coursework and finish your required live-fire qualification at our Tracy indoor range.

COUNTY APPLICATION LINKS

Alameda County

Apply through the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office application portal.

  1. Submit your Alameda County CCW application.
  2. Complete Live Scan fingerprinting when instructed.
  3. Complete the background investigation and interview process.
  4. Complete psychological evaluation if required.
  5. When authorized, complete your required training and live-fire qualification.
  6. Upload your completion documents to the county portal.

Apply through the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office application portal.

  1. Complete the online CCW application.
  2. Save your Order Tracker Number and password.
  3. Upload required documents and complete fingerprinting/background steps.
  4. Wait for authorization before completing training.
  5. Complete your required training and live-fire qualification.
  6. Upload your completion documents and finish final county steps.

BASIC PROCESS

    • Begin your CCW application through your county’s online portal
  2. COMPLETE ONLINE TRAINING
    • Complete your required classroom training online once authorized by your issuing agency
  3. COMPLETE LIVE-FIRE QUALIFICATION
    • Qualify at Elite Armory Plus with each firearm you intend to place on your permit.
  4. SUBMIT COMPLETE DOCUMENTS
    • Upload your certificate or qualification paperwork to your county portal.

  • Valid California driver license or government-issued photo ID
  • Firearm or firearms you intend to list on your permit
  • Magazines or speed loaders for each firearm
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Ammunition

Ammunition as well as eye and ear protection can be purchased at our range if you do not already have them.
